I wonder if trees
Ever have the urge to travel
Do they envy Christmas trees ?
Or those on the way to becoming lumber ?
Or are they content
Bearing fruit
Housing birds
Standing proudly for all to enjoy
I hope so…….
But I suppose it depends upon the tree.
