Make some room in your freezer — deer hunting has opened for early season only at Lopez Hill Preserve. Dates are as follows:

• Archery: Sept. 1-27.

• Muzzleloader: Sept. 28–Oct. 6.

• Modern Firearm: Oct. 12–31.
