The American Red Cross invites community members to attend an informational session on emergency preparedness on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 7–8 p.m. at the Family Resource Center, 23 Pear Tree Ln, Lopez Island, WA 98261.

Attendees will meet local Red Cross volunteers and the Disaster Program Manager for Northwest Washington Chapter, Carmella Bauman.

The unique Lopez Island community has a number of Red Cross programs and activities already in place.
