Community members of all political beliefs are invited to view the election results on a big screen TV at Lopez Center on Tuesday, Nov. 4, starting at 7 p.m.

Irene Skyriver is organizing the event, which will have beer and wine available for sale, a finger food potluck, and an open mic for any kind of expression, “like singing, guitar, vibes, marimba, juggling, poetry – whatever anyone wants to do. It will be open for any and all sorts of offerings,” said Skyriver.

Admission is by donation and will go towards the Lopez Center rental fee. The evening will go on as late as it takes for a solid decision. Skyriver said it could go as late as midnight.

“I thought that whether we win or lose on either side, it would be nice to be around people and celebrate – or not – without feeling like we’re alone,” she said.
