A fixture at Carol Weeks’s Lopez Garage for the past 10 years, his power boat Sea Bee was launched Tuesday, August 10, in Fisherman Bay. Weeks started the project 15 years ago when Sea Bee was in the water and then moved her to Lopez Garage. Sea Bee is entirely renovated, with a new cabin and new wiring. She was designed by William Atkins, Senior and built by James Blair around 1942 in Edmonds, WA. Weeks’s parents purchased the boat in 1958 from the original owner.
