On Sept. 11, 2001, life in America changed.

Symbols of U.S. capitalism and military might were attacked by terrorists. The attacks sparked a long period of mourning, forced us to change how we protect our communities, and sparked battles on foreign land to flush out those responsible for the attacks.

islandsweekly.net and sanjuanjournal.com invite you to remember Sept. 11 with an online tribute. It can be a story, photograph, web page, graphic or animation.

If you need help building a web page, visit ivillage, geocities.yahoo or tripod.lycos.

Send submissions and URLs to rwalker@sanjuanjournal.com. Submissions will be posted on islandsweekly.net and sanjuanjournal.com, and published in the Sept. 11 Journal of the San Juan Islands.
