After 15 years of having the pleasure of writing the horoscope column for the Islands’ Weekly, it is time to retire the column.

My father passed away a week ago, I am now a full-time student at Western Washington University and between these two events I’ve had to make the agonizing decision regarding time management, so the column is what has to go.

Thank you for the many good years, your feedback and fun and the camaraderie as we go through life with its twists and turns. I hope my column has served you well as a guide to life.

I do have a Facebook page to which I will be writing short comments so you can tune into that, and I will also write occasionally on my website which can be accessed through my Facebook page “Astrologer Triana Elan.”

This has been a difficult decision but for me, it’s time to put the column to rest.

Thank you all for following my column, sharing it and being such loyal readers. No one could ask for more.

My warmest regards to all of you as well as the Weekly staff.
