Calling all golfers (non-golfers, too)! Join us Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Lopez Island Golf Club for the third annual “Wurst” Golf Tournament and Music Fest. Check in at 10 a.m. The tournament is in “scramble format” with 4-person teams. Make up your own team or we’ll find a team for you. There will also be men’s and women’s individual competitions. Stay around after golf or just come about 5 p.m. to see live performances by Acoustic Bluegrass Group Jeff Hanks, Helmut Fischer and John Seibold and local favorites Libby Valluzzi and Lisa Geddes. There will be an Oktoberfest-style food court with Jones Family Farms sausages, salads, desserts and your favorite beverages. Browse the silent auction items. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
