HOROSCOPE

Mercury Direct,

New Moon!

Finally, Mercury comes out of retrograde on Tuesday! It will take a couple of days to stabilize and move ahead, so by the weekend we can breathe a sigh of relief, at least personally. This retrograde was awful for everyone I know, with higher than normal levels of weirdness, lost stuff on computers, accidents, etc. Tempers flew and disagreements erupted and lots of us were miserable for at least part of these past few weeks. Now it’s winding down. This is good.

The collective is still in turmoil due to the Saturn/Uranus opposition, and this will continue with some days of relief until something else happens. Many ask me when this will be over..it won’t be any time soon, so we must adapt, be careful, realize that everything is changing and we must protect and nurture what we have without wanting more and more. This is the critical thing. Losses are right around the corner and this isn’t a time to take risks that we can’t afford to lose in any way shape or fashion. This is the time of prudence, of pulling back and focusing on what is working, strengthening what is weak in whatever way we can, and building trust with ourselves, friends, colleagues and clients. Long term. Our goals, for now, must be short-term since the long term is unpredictable and the events of two years ago are still playing out.

Aries (March 21- April 19): Mercury goes direct in your solar sector of finances on Tuesday; this will bring almost immediate relief that you will see this week. What a time it’s been, but now that Mercury is righting itself, lost of other things will too. The New Moon in your financial sector on Thursday brings a finish to a very disturbing financial matter, so look the cards to fall in your favor once again.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): This will be a slam-dunk week for you; Mercury goes direct in your sign on Tuesday, then we have a New Moon in your sign on Thursday. This may have felt like a time where you couldn’t possibly reinvent yourself any more without completely replacing yourself! The pressure will be off now, so breathe easy.

Gemini (May 21- June 20): Mercury goes direct in your sector of Endings on Tuesday, and the New Moon will occur in that same sector for you on Thursday. This will be a week of clearing out stuff, whether mental or physical. You may feel a bit weepy off and on due to strong emotional ties that are weakening or breaking now; but you tend to not attach to anything for very long, and it’s time to shave off extra stuff anyway.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Now that you made it through last week, Mercury goes direct in your sector of friendships/goals. This puts communication right again, even with people you’ve had arguments with. You do like peace and will sometimes do almost anything to obtain it. The New Moon in this same sector paves the way for you to find new inroads to friendships that tie into what it is you are aiming for. You are gathering a lot of new people in your life, who will be companions for a time.

Leo (July 23 – August 22): You were one of the signs most affected by the Mercury retrograde, and now Mercury goes direct in your sector of career on Tuesday. Any residual icky stuff will be eased by the New Moon on Thursday in that same sector. You are a hard worker, but be careful that your ego isn’t running away with you in the workplace; your work should support you, and if you don’t like your job, look for a new one soon because the portal is open for you.

Virgo (August 23 – September 21): With Mercury going direct on Tuesday and the New Moon on Thursday both clearing snarls out of your sector of spirituality/expansion, you finally can feel some lateral movement again, at the very least. This has been a rough time, but in spite of things becoming more interesting on a global scale you are able to pull yourself into your own sphere of expression. You may have felt lethargic these past few weeks. It won’t last, believe me! Energize!

Libra (September 22 – October 23): Mercury goes direct on Tuesday and the New Moon clears the slate for you on Thursday. Both events occur in your sector of intimacy/shared assets. You may have lost some money in these past few weeks, but you will regain it in the next month. Venus is still very much on your side in your sector of Expansion, and she is in a fine aspect with Neptune in your sector of Creative Expression. If you’re an art buff, this is a great time to be alive!

Scorpio (October 24- November 22): Mercury finally goes direct on Tuesday and the New Moon will occur on Thursday; both of these events will be in your sector of relationships, putting things right and clearing the way for smoother communication and a feeling of security. Getting rid of lifelong bad habits is difficult, but if cooperation occurs and agreements are kept, there is the secret. Some things are way more important than resentment and you will find them in the near future.

Sagittarius (November 23 – December 20): With Mercury going retrograde and the New Moon both occurring in your sector of work/health, new prospects will come your way in the coming weeks. The bugaboo is still the Saturn/Uranus opposition, especially if you were born late in your sign (December 18-ish), but the close-range planets have been affecting you more. Now that Mercury is straightening out, you will be able to gain lost ground, though. It’s good.

Capricorn (December 21 – January 20): Mercury goes direct Tuesday, a New Moon occurs on Thursday and both events take place in your sector of creative expression/thinking. This will certainly let you breathe better, see what hasn’t been working for you in that area and make the changes. The closer the planets, the more personal the effect; it will still take a few days for things to stabilize, so hang in there and end your week spending time with the people you love the most and focusing on what has gone right in any given day.

Aquarius (January 21 – February 20): Mercury goes direct on Tuesday and the New Moon occurs on Thursday, both events in your sector of Home, so whatever gains you have been hoping for will come about towards the end of the week and by next week you will be going full steam ahead. As long as you don’t do anything accidentally on purpose, cooperation will be yours and you will be able to move along without the obstacles of these past weeks. Excellent. Give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done.

Pisces (February 21 – March 20): Uranus in your sign is still opposing Saturn, and soon it will move away. Mercury goes direct on Tuesday and the New Moon occurs on Thursday, both events in your sector of communication/thinking/short trips. If you’re going somewhere, wait until the weekend or early next week when everything has stabilized and you have cleared your mind. Don’t fret and worry over things because that’s a waste of energy. Do what you can, when you can, and flow on through.
