It was standing room only in Colleen Currie’s literacy class when Washington author Jennifer Bradbury visited last week. Ms. Bradbury talked about her new book, Shift, and conducted a writing workshop for high school and middle school students. The visit, which was sponsored by the Lopez Island Library, was a success. Ms. Bradbury impressed upon the students that, “writers are regular people, leading regular lives, who make time in their day to write.” - photo credit Karen Rogers
