IslandsWeekly.com was founded in December 2001 as an online news and information source about Lopez Island and the area. It is updated during the week. The Islands' Weekly was founded in 1982 and is based on Lopez Island. The Islands' Weekly is published every Tuesday and is mailed to homes and businesses in the San Juan Islands. It features artist profiles, book reviews, cartoons by Syd Stibbard, Classifieds, community events, health-related features, local news, senior profiles, and Real Estate in the San Juans.
